Grain Sparrow 23/03/04 - Coming to this from the debut, I loved the foregrounding of melodic elements in the first half—the lead-guitaresque synth lines in the opener, the flourish that sneaks in at the end of Draught of Courage—and I still do, but eleven listens in, it's the title tracks that casts the deeper spell. Favorite track: Florakinesis.

dynamicdave Deep but alluring intro to Florakinesis; intriguing organ-like sound, mid-way, but always alongside that deep rumble. Would sound great at the Manchester Bridgewater Hall when the Halle are having a night off … Such a good listen. Favorite track: Florakinesis.

We started Bulbils as a way to deal with the unfolding coronavirus crisis and resulting lockdown. We aim to make music most days and share it with you here.

It'll be very simple, small and peaceful. We hope it can be of use to you, maybe some sort of company or comfort. It's a big help for us just to play together as we make our way through this unexpected time.
